The College of Medical and Dental Sciences’ Technology Hub brings to all its researchers the opportunity to access the latest technologies. Here you’ll find information on the large number of instruments and facilities available through the Hub including Next Generation Sequencing, high speed cell sorting, qPCR, protein and antibody production, confocal microscopy and transgenic services. There are also links to other facilities within the University e.g. The Functional Genomics lab in Life and Environmental Sciences and the Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Facility.

Most of the equipment is bookable online – you just need to register with the site to access the calendars. Where the facility isn’t bookable details of who to contact are given. Before access is enabled new users will need to arrange to be trained to use the instruments they require.
