Our PPI Strategy
Each research or implementation theme have patient/public representatives on their respective Theme Management Group (TMG). We have formed a ‘PPI Forum and ‘PPI Panel’ to advise, develop and coordinate PPI work across our CLAHRC and also across related initiatives operating in the region.
The role of the ‘PPI Panel’ is to act as a ‘critical friend’ to CLAHRC-BBC, providing advice on the development and coordination of PPI in our research activities. The ‘PPI Forum’ is there to discuss PPI activities more generally and to operationalise PPI at theme level.
