Key Health Data is an annual compendium of information and intelligence reports on public health. The Commissioning Support Unit in the Department of Public Health, Epidemiology and Biostatistics in the School of Health and Population Sciences, co-ordinates the production of Key Health Data together with regional health information agencies and NHS bodies in the West Midlands.

Key Health Data aims to inform commissioning and planning decisions by presenting information on health related subjects of topical interest. Authors of individual chapters take responsibility for the content presented and the conclusions drawn. There is a vast amount of health related information and Key Health Data does not seek to be comprehensive, rather it is a collection of papers that decision makers might find useful.
