UK Funding
National Institute for Health Research
The goal of the NIHR is to create a health research system in which the
NHS supports outstanding individuals, working in world class facilities,
conducting leading edge research focused on the needs of patients and the
public.
The BCRA will primarily assist academics and their NHS collaborators with
NIHR funding applications.

The NIH is the federal focal point for basic or clinical biomedical,
behavioural, and bioengineering research in the United States. Funding is
distributed through its 20 separate Institutes and 7 Centres, which can
award some grants to foreign institutions.
